My passion has always been painting. I was a scenic artist with the movie industry for over 7 years. I then had my own business painting faux finishes in high end residential homes for roughly 6 years.
I got into the flower business several years ago after taking a few classes for fun. Soon I was asked to provide flowers for friends and family’s weddings. I was hooked. My painting back round provided me with color, composition and design. Working with flowers gives me all that plus texture! The possibilities are endless :)
I was lucky enough to be hired by Flower Duet where I took the classes. I continue to work there assisting during the busy wedding season. It provides me with continued hands on education, as there is always something new to learn about these perishable beauties!
