Every wedding is unique, and I love meeting my brides' vision of their day.
I love carnations for their variety of color, and durability. Light corals and dusty pinks, compliment this bride's dress.
This bride wanted a Lord of the Rings themed wedding shower. I loved this challenge! I wanted to convey the mystical/magical reality of the Hobbits. I chose a low dish (rather than a vase) covered with rich green textures to allow the eye to wander through. Rocks and tall branches with hanging moss completed the look I was after.
The room had two large hanging chandeliers that my client wanted to incorporate into the theme. I hung clusters of bent willow, spray roses, and lots of plumosa fern, that elegantly dangled downward..
Using fruits and vegetables with flowers creates unexpected surprises and rich textures. This event is a 16 course meal paired with 16 wines. My client wanted something spectacular to look at while guests were enjoying their meal and wine. Notice the raspberries, mini artichoke, and mini eggplant amongst the orchids, clematis, and ornamental kale.
Succulents lend themselves beautifully to these fall arrangements.
Succulents can also be used as elegant foundations when paired with orchids and roses.
Repeating cool plum colors, and baby's breath compliment both bride and bride's maids.
Variety of Bouquet Color Combinations
I made 200 ft of garland for a luncheon event for Association of Club Catering Professionals, in Napa valley 2018. We wanted something different than traditional garland. This was not only different but fun with a variety of colors and textures, including cactus, cactus pears, coconuts, mini bananas, pincushion proteas, dried chilies, fresh chilies, and a variety of colorful flowers.
